[2010 Taiwan] 瑪麗洋房 Marie House

這是我們家的寶貝Connie設計的第一間餐廳. 每次我們這些姐姐到別人的部落格中看到她們對餐廳中裝潢的讚賞,就忍不住為她高興… 在我們心中, 她一直是最棒, 最有天分的室內設計師. 參觀的那一天, 也是我們要回美國的那一天. 在如此美的餐廳中, 享受著廚師用心做出的料理: 算是弭補一下度假要結束的感傷吧!

Marie House — the first restaurant project Connie had. She designed the restaurant from scratch, and saw through the construction and decoration phases.

The food was delicious as well. We all had something different — ranging from simpla pasta dish, brunch menu items, to steak meals.

We took a lot of pictures at the restaurant. We also went to Jia-ling’s house, which was also designed by Connie.

墾丁的天空特別的藍! 雖然太陽很大, 可是, 風是涼爽宜人的. 軟綿綿的沙子, 跟著浪花打到你的身上, 好像在搔癢一般. 璿璿玩的不亦樂乎. 在夏都的私人沙灘, 既不壅擠, 又不髒亂. 玩累了,就拖著濕濕的身體, 在身後留下一滴滴的水痕,和滿滿的幸福記憶, 一路走回房間…吹冷氣

Since we were already at Kenting, staying at one of the top hotel Chateau Beach Resort, we can’t miss the beach activities that was right there next to use.

The weather was beautiful and the beach was gorgeous.

這間館子, 是從我有印象開使, 就存在的喔. 我們小時候, 住家就在它得對面而已. 我從小一起長大的朋友, 更是老正興的常客(因為他們是江浙人, 爺爺更是留戀這裡道地的美味!) 所以他們家, 從家庭聚會到婚嫁宴客, 一定是到老正興. 小葳還記的爸媽打麻將時總是叫他們送菜過來.. (我是沒印象啦) 長話短說… 他們的東西就是好吃啦.

這次真的是親家大集合!!! 我的公公婆婆從美國到台灣玩, 順道參加了三妹的婚禮. 所以帶他們和三妹新家翁一起吃飯! 小姨從台北下來, 和二姨二姨丈一起請我爸媽的親家們 (還有一堆女兒女婿) 吃了這一頓讓我們姊妹們有懷舊感覺的晚餐! 謝謝

我記的那天我們吃了拼盤, 烤鴨, 蘿蔔絲餅, 鱔糊, 庵篤鮮…很多很多…… 請不要問我們為什麼沒有可口美味餐點的照片… 因為沒有人願意放下筷子, 拿起相機!

Second aunt and uncle, as well as aunt grace wanted to take the two in-laws (the Suns and the Hsiens) out to dinner. Dad suggested Lao-Cheng-Hsing. This is a place we often do take-out when mom and dad are playing Majong. We used to live just across from the restaurant on the same street. The food was Sechuan style, and delicious as usual.

[2010 Taiwan] 2010年台灣之行 Too many things

This March, we went back to taiwan for Rita and Peter’s big day(s). Curtis had a great time eating a lot of food, enjoying time with his many loving grand-uncle/aunty, aunts and uncle, and of course — Ah-gong and Ah-Ma.

He also enjoyed the massages by grand uncle. He occasionally he enjoyed giving the massage as well.

The first weekend we were at Taiwan, it was Joyce (Zi-jia)’s birthday. We all went out and celebrate for her at Shang-Hua-Guan.

We also spent one day traveling to Kenting to check out the location of Rita and Peter’s wedding at Kenting. Teacher Wang joined us and he was super funny. I can also foresee the wedding to be very beautiful.

There’s also many misc. pictures from many goofy things Curtis did, and many nice restaurants and places we visited.
