Curtis was sleeping on the couch and his positions are just too cut to not take pictures.

看完球賽後, 已經累得睜不開眼, 可是又不願意去房間睡… 像不像大爺? 還要翹腳呢!

璿璿思念這個 “高登-小火車” 失眠又沒事就亂哭了好幾天…. 心軟兼沒用的爸媽, 隨便用了一個理由, 送給了他… (不過後來發現, 也可以用來控制他聽你的話唷)

當他拿到的那一刻… 好像他已經得到全天下一樣

This morning, Bob was outside trying to fix the water sprinkler. Curtis saw his daddy outside said he wants to go outside and keep Bob’s company. He quietly walked to his room and … picked out a pair of socks, put it on, then pick out his tennis shoes…while he still has his sleeping outfit on. As it turned out …. here’s the next in-thing as a Curtis Fashion Statement!

Curtis attended his first music lesson as a preview class on Friday. Teach Rebecca seemed very good with kids. The class involved some dancing, singing, and activities. I think Curtis enjoyed it too.

This year’s annual 4th of July parade happened on Monday. Local schools, sponsors, churches and temples all gathered and marched down Stimson Avenue.

這是我們家的寶貝Connie設計的第一間餐廳. 每次我們這些姐姐到別人的部落格中看到她們對餐廳中裝潢的讚賞,就忍不住為她高興… 在我們心中, 她一直是最棒, 最有天分的室內設計師. 參觀的那一天, 也是我們要回美國的那一天. 在如此美的餐廳中, 享受著廚師用心做出的料理: 算是弭補一下度假要結束的感傷吧!

Marie House — the first restaurant project Connie had. She designed the restaurant from scratch, and saw through the construction and decoration phases.

The food was delicious as well. We all had something different — ranging from simpla pasta dish, brunch menu items, to steak meals.

We took a lot of pictures at the restaurant. We also went to Jia-ling’s house, which was also designed by Connie.

[2010 Taiwan] 老正興館‎ (Lao-Cheng-Hsing)

這間館子, 是從我有印象開使, 就存在的喔. 我們小時候, 住家就在它得對面而已. 我從小一起長大的朋友, 更是老正興的常客(因為他們是江浙人, 爺爺更是留戀這裡道地的美味!) 所以他們家, 從家庭聚會到婚嫁宴客, 一定是到老正興. 小葳還記的爸媽打麻將時總是叫他們送菜過來.. (我是沒印象啦) 長話短說… 他們的東西就是好吃啦.

這次真的是親家大集合!!! 我的公公婆婆從美國到台灣玩, 順道參加了三妹的婚禮. 所以帶他們和三妹新家翁一起吃飯! 小姨從台北下來, 和二姨二姨丈一起請我爸媽的親家們 (還有一堆女兒女婿) 吃了這一頓讓我們姊妹們有懷舊感覺的晚餐! 謝謝

我記的那天我們吃了拼盤, 烤鴨, 蘿蔔絲餅, 鱔糊, 庵篤鮮…很多很多…… 請不要問我們為什麼沒有可口美味餐點的照片… 因為沒有人願意放下筷子, 拿起相機!

Second aunt and uncle, as well as aunt grace wanted to take the two in-laws (the Suns and the Hsiens) out to dinner. Dad suggested Lao-Cheng-Hsing. This is a place we often do take-out when mom and dad are playing Majong. We used to live just across from the restaurant on the same street. The food was Sechuan style, and delicious as usual.

今年是虎年…希望大家虎年虎虎生風! 虎年行大運! 今年的大年初一年剛好跟西洋情人節同一天. 2/15 又剛好是美國的總統節, 所以我們有了三天的長周末結果是…我們團圓飯吃了三次.

This year is the year of Tiger ….. so you can guess how old i am! We had three different new years meals.

First was a feast prepared by Bob’s mom (hah.. no pictures were taken). Curtis and Athan both dressed up in chinese dresses.

Second was a dinner prepared by Willa and I.

Third was a Bob’s uncle’s house.
